A visionary leader and pioneering figure in the field of disaster management, youth development, and community resilience, Chief Gibin Babu has dedicated his life to fostering the overall development of human resources, particularly among youth.

A Visionary Leader and Founder of GreyAiders

Gibin Babu is a trailblazer in his field, and his contributions to disaster management, youth development, and community resilience are unparalleled. He founded GreyAiders in 2017 as a key component of his research program, ‘Project GREY FIST’. This initiative aims to foster the overall development of human resources, particularly among youth, to contribute to nation-building and provide support during emergencies and crises.

Academic Background

Chief Gibin Babu’s academic journey is a testament to his commitment to excellence. He began his educational pursuits at Carmel Academy English Medium School, Alappuzha, and later attended Lajanathul Muhammadiya Higher Secondary School, Alappuzha. He then pursued higher education at Sanatana Dharma College, Alappuzha. His academic credentials include:

– Martial arts, holding a Black Belt in Taekwondo and Karate
– Multiple Unarmed Combat disciplines
– Developed his own styles, ‘KAYORU’ and ‘PRATIMARG’

Gibin Babu has a proven track record in training government, national, state, and local organizations, as well as educational institutions, ranging from high schools to arts and engineering colleges. His expertise in disaster management, community resilience, and youth development is sought after by organizations across the country. He was the Chief Trainer of three Government Training Programs.

Leadership Roles

Gibin Babu serves as the Deputy Commandant of S.T.A.R Command (Support Team for Action & Readiness) and Delta Task Force under the Alappuzha District Administration. The Alappuzha District Collector is the Chief Commandant, and the Alappuzha Sub-Collector is the Commandant. His leadership roles are a testament to his commitment to serving his community and nation.
