STAR Command is a specialized unit under the Alappuzha District Administration, with GreyAiders as the nodal agency, aimed at providing critical support during crises and emergencies, offering training and capacity-building programs in disaster management and community aspects, and acting as a special control room for volunteer mobilization and deployment assistance, with a structured leadership of District Collector as Chief Commandant, Sub-Collector as Commandant, and GreyAiders Chief Officer as Deputy Commandant.

Greycons, the Crisis Response Division, is an elite wing of GreyAiders, comprising highly trained cadres specializing in advanced search and rescue operations, crisis management, and special tasks. As a specialized unit, Greycons supports military, paramilitary, and special deployments, and is also designated as the Delta Task Force under STAR Command, operating directly under the District Administration to provide rapid response and critical support during emergencies, disasters, and high-risk situations, leveraging their expertise to save lives and ensure public safety.

Fighting such an infectious virus requires attention to even minor details, and these innovations can be very useful for the public once installed.
