Their work during the COVID pandemic was commendable, particularly in their role as the nodal agency of S.T.A.R Command. They provided significant support by offering community Readiness training programs in disaster management. I was impressed by their inventory and expertise. I suggest expanding their training to educational institutions to better prepare younger generations in various skills.

We have selected GreyAiders, the Coordinators of Sammoohika Sannadha Sena in Alappuzha, for their exemplary work. They have developed a practical solution by creating Foot Operated Wash Points (F.O.W.P) on a low budget, considering the severe COVID-19 pandemic. Fighting such an infectious virus requires attention to even minor details, and these innovations can be very useful for the public once installed.

They have tremendously helped the District administration of Alappuzha in the fight against COVID 19 , they are completely motivated , they sow the seed of inspiration and volunteerism among many youngsters in Kerala . I wish all the best in all their future services to the nation!!

This is in appreciation of the selfless service rendered by ‘Team GREYAIDERS’ as a Special Task Team for successfully completing the evacuation of people of Kuttanadu during Kerala Floods 2018. The team was detailed for delivering fuel for the rescue and rehabilitation operations. They also collected information regarding the vehicles and vessels detailed for the rescue and rehabilitation operation and submitted it as a report to the District Administration so that it can be used for similar situations in future. The role played by GREYAIDERS was vital in saving thousands of human lives and livestock.

“Hundreds of boats arriving for rescue operations needed diesel, petrol, and kerosene. They took up the task, which was pending since the first day. They had to fill containers with petrol, diesel, and kerosene from pumps and transport them to the shore where boats were anchored. They had to keep accurate accounts and even join rescue operations if needed.They took up the task with dedication and ensured that not a single boat went without fuel. On rescue days, Grey Aiders were the first to arrive at the finishing point and the last to leave.Now that everything is over, they came to meet me again. I gave them a big salute.”
